Conoco Q2 surges as refining buoys Big Oil

LONDON/SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – ConocoPhillips , the third-largest U.S. oil company, reported a 150 percent increase in underlying quarterly profit, in a dramatic bounceback of its volatile refining business.
